“Selling yourself in 1minute” Google+ Video Conference/Hangout Sat 2/11/12 11am est

How it works:
Each person will have one minute to “Sell themselves” by giving a one minute pitch about what they do, what they sell, what their business does, what their cause is about, or anything they wish to sell in their presentation.

After each person “sells themselves” there will be time for critiquing the presentation at the end of each presentation/elevator pitch.

At the end of all presentations people will have opportunity to tweak their presentation based on feedback and give it another try.

After people are giving opportunity to “take 2″ on their pitches, a few people will be given option to do a 5min-10min pitch. No longer than 10min.

When all presentations are complete we will discuss ways to refer each other, marketing topics, and open networking and other topics of interest to the group.

Getting ready for joining the hangout.
Make sure you have your Web cam and microphone setup and working.
Visit: http://www.google.com/+
Sign into Google or create an account if necessary.
Click on “Start a Hangout” (You won’t be starting one, you are just checking your settings)
Once you Click on Start Hangout you will see a small black video screen appear in middle of your screen.
Click the little gear icon(Settings) to the bottom right of that little black video screen.
Now make sure you webcam and your audio settings are set correctly. Just make sure they are selected by choosing them in the drop down.

The day of the event just recheck these video settings before the event when you click on the link above for the schedule event/hangout.
